Western Michigan Men’s Basketball defeated Central Michigan 77-65 on Saturday in front of an energetic Bronco crowd. Jayden Brewer led the team in both points (20) and rebounds (11) while teammates E.J. Ryans (15) and Justice Williams (14) joined Brewer in double figures.
Central Michigan opened the game on a 17-9 run thanks in large part to some hot three-point shooting. Western’s offense had struggled to get going, but turned it around at this point.
A quick 6-0 personal run by Jalen Griffith quickly brought the Broncos back within striking distance, and after a bit of back and forth, Carson Vis put WMU back in front at 27-25.
