Vanderbilt picked up their second recruit for 2016 when dual threat quarterback Deuce Wallace anchored down in Nashville. Wallace had been a Northwestern commit but flipped to the Commodores after attending Junior Day last weekend.
Derek Mason picked up his second recruit for 2016 on Sunday, getting a Northwestern commit to change his allegiance after the Commodores hosted a handful of high school recruits this weekend. Three-star quarterback Deuce Wallace announced that he'd be staying in his home state by playing for his "dream school" in Nashville.
Wallace broke the news on Twitter:
He gets bonus points for not referring to it as "the University of Vanderbilt," like a handful of players have during this recruiting cycle.
