Derek Mason hasn't confined himself to local limits when it comes to his 2016 recruiting class. After Cameron Tidd gave Vanderbilt a verbal commitment on Thursday, the Commodores now have five players coming to Nashville from five different states.
Tidd, a 6'3", 250 pound defensive lineman, gave Mason his bond earlier today. The under-the-radar prospect will head south from Greenwood, Indiana to add some more bulk to the Wild Dogs defense. Tidd is a run-absorbing interior tackle who has a strong understanding of how plays unfold and what the best angle of pursuit is.
