The eight players were drafted in June’s MLB First-Year Player Draft but didn’t sign until after the College World Series – with the exception of suspended third baseman Xavier Turner. They collectively signed for over $12 million in signing bonuses.
Although most of their seasons won’t end for a few more weeks, here’s a brief check in on how their seasons are going.

Swanson signed his first professional deal, the sixth largest in draft history, right at the July 17 deadline and got another unfortunate delay to his professional career.
