-Quick-twitch interior defender with good explosion off the ball
-Shows fast hands with a powerful punch at the initial point of contact, allowing him to gain control quickly in the trenches
-Very good athlete for a player of his size; able to chase up and down the line

-Needs to not rely on size as much when taking on double teams and down blocks; can be knocked off the ball and taken out of the play too easily
-Must find a way to convert his hand usage as a run defender into a pass rush package; not much of a pass rush prowess
-Motor runs hot and cold; doesn’t always chase the ball
-Projects as more of an early-down defender until he adds to his pass rush repertoire
-Tends to freelance too much in the run game, taking himself out of gaps
-Has to play through his base more at the next level; tends to bend at the waist too much
