Nate Sudfeld suffers broken wrist, will have surgery

UPDATE: During his post-game press conference, Doug Pederson said x-rays confirmed that Nate Sudfeld has a broken wrist. The Eagles’ backup quarterback will have surgery on Friday morning. Pederson didn’t offer an exact timetable on Sudfeld’s potential return but he did say the injury will not end Sudfeld’s season.

The Eagles couldn’t make it an entire half of a preseason game without an injury. Backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld was shaken up after taking a late hit, and after a short stint in the sideline medical tent, was carted off the field with an air cast on his left (non-throwing) arm.
