After going 3-28-3 last season, the Miami RedHawks have climbed to 16-8-2 and 7-7-2 in NCHC play, and No. 19 in the NPI, following a series sweep at St. Cloud State last weekend. For a program that has spent years buried at the bottom of the standings, the turnaround under second-year head coach Anthony Noreen has been remarkable to see.
When the season started, Miami was winning against lower-level teams. As the year has gone on, however, the winning has continued against better and better competition. It can no longer be ignored.
