Bears defensive performance vs. 49ers highlights major weaknesses for Chicago

There was no shortage of offense in the Week 17 Sunday night matchup between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers.

The two teams combined for 80 points with Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers defeating Ben Johnson’s Bears, 42-38. Caleb Williams and the Bears’ offense had a shot at the end of the game to potentially secure another fourth-quarter comeback victory.

Chicago went on a 15-play, 63-yard drive but came up short on the 49ers' two-yard line after Williams’ pass fell incomplete in the end zone and the clock expired.

Could the Bears' offense have done more?
