BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — Bowling Green State University’s hockey team scored the final three goals in a 3-1 road victory Friday against CCHA foe Ferris State.
Brody Waters scored off assists from Jake Sloan and Jackson Niedermayer at 13:57 of the second period to tie things up after Ferris State’s Jack Mesic scored early in the second.
Jaden Grant netted a power-play goal a minute and 24 seconds after the Waters goal, assisted by Ty Higgins and Dominik Rymon, to put the Falcons ahead.
Brandon Whynott connected on an empty-net goal with 58 seconds to go in the game, assisted by Waters and Ben Doran.
